Kamila's New Home

It was a relieved Kamila who arrive at her new home in Bulgaria on the 5th August. She now sits on a self in the living room keeping a wary eye on her hosts every evening. She has many friends who also live with here on the shelf, many coming from England but not all.

As time ticks on Kamila is keen to try and understand Bulgarian ways and customs which is so different from where she comes from. In the meantime she is just getting a feeling again from her return here.

Needless to say she this is the happiest she has been for many a year.

Kamila the Camel is back in Bulgaria

KAMILA RETURNS TO BULGARIA

It has been a long long time since Kamila the Camel has made any statements or observations.

She has been locked away in London, England for over 6 years with her carers feeling very sorry for herself. Understandable so.

Although she had been there before as she was for sale in the famous Hamleys toy Shop in Regents Street, she never thought she would return.

History now indeed for Kamiila who looks forward to her new life in Yambol Bulgaria. This is where she learned so much about the culture and Bulgarian ways which make so much sense to her now.

So with renewed vigor and refreshed brain, Kamila is ripe for sharing her experiences once again.

Looking Back And Forward In Blogging

Looking Back And Forward In Blogging

Kamila has been looking back and looking forward with the blogging bug that she has firmly established. It has been a great year for learning about earning money online for Kamila. The biggest reward was the learning curve that has been made from this point last year. Many things have happened and been experimented on and mistakes made, this is how we all learn.

In the coming new year of 2010, Kamila hopes to continue in the same way looking at new ideas, and perhaps revamping old one to make life a little easier with some income from blogging. She has always said that making lots of money is very difficult but making little and often is quite easy and Kamila is more than content with the latter. Greedy is something Kamila certainly isn’t.

Looking Back And Forward In BloggingNew Year will be celebrated in Yambol with friends and family then its off to the village farmhouse which has not been visited for three weeks. There should be snowdrops with this warm spell we have had so it will be a pretty place to be for a couple of day. Besides which all Kamila’s family need a little rest for the partying and fully charged body and mind batteries for the working year ahead.

In the meantime Kamila wishes all bloggers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and she hopes that the sun shines of your blog for the whole of 2010 and beyond.

ps
No Internet for Kamila this weekend and she hopes that her faithful EC droppers continue whilst she is offline.

Blogsvertise Help Pay For Blogging

Blogsvertise Pen

Over the past year Kamila and her team have been writing paid reviews to supplement their income and help pay the overheads that are incurred in blogging. This included paying for a monthly internet service at 22 BGN leva per month, paying for the subscription fees for web servers and web domain, the electric that is used and of course the time spent blogging.

Most paid review organisations are a bit erratic but it has come to pass that one paid review site comes up with the good it originally advertise in trying to get blogger and advertisers to use them. Kamila being a blogger can obviously only see the bloggers side of the organisation. Over the year the earning made from Blogsvertise is US$116.50. This amount was made only by selecting assignments that were in common with the blogs that they were offered too. Taking all assignments offered this figure would be in excess of US$300! The US$116.50 makes a great dent into the covering of overheads of blogging from this one site alone.

Kamila cannot find fault with Blogsvertise, they regularly come up with assignments that can be taken or left without prejudice and pay monthly regularly as clockwork. The fees range from US$7 to US$12.50 per paid review and you get that amount rather then a third being taken off as commission – this is how it should be.

If there is a problem with the paid review post they let you know where the problem lies straight away, so you can edit and reapply the post. This is invaluable for dyslexics and we have one who writes in the team. And with payment direct into you Pay pal account it couldn’t be simpler.

Kamila is now waiting for Christmas to happen here in Bulgaria and will probably have four days of family parties knowing that paid reviews will be waiting in the New Year to be able to continue blogging and of course now with pictures as a digital camera has been purchased thanks to two very kind donations made by bloggers.

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From It

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From ItKamila saw the first snow of the year this weekend something she is still getting used to in Bulgaria. Pretty it is, but quite inconvenient for planting garlic sets that was planned this weekend. So it was back to blogging offline with her thinking cap on.

There is a very useful article directory that has been of great benefit to Kamila’s team and blogs that she is associated with. Ezine Articles has already awarded an Expert Author to Slivatree, which is the webmaster's pen name for over least 13 blogs! Ezine Articles are stricter about the content of articles than many other similar sites. This thorough vetting process gives the site more credibility and the readers who use it to search for articles more confidence that they can guarantee a well written article when looking up subjects or topics.

Kamila has been a member of Ezine for well over a year now approaching 100 articles with juicy back links. The traffic generated from this is substantial and consistent and of course a new breed of reader other than Entrecard and Adgitize who drop and run in the main. The hits you get are from readers who want to read you article and if they like it visit the course (you blog site) for more.

The secret of generating more traffic with Ezine Articles is easy, but it has to be word and grammar perfect and the topics you write about have to be respectful and have constructive format. Kamila had one rejected recently on a shopping review - it was refused because it wasn’t a positive review.

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From ItIt takes around five minutes from taking a post you might just have written (it has to be 250+ words) and pasting it as a submitted article. Well worth taking the time to do this and build up a repertoire or articles that will help you blog become more popular. Kamila reminds you that once it is accepted (takes around 5-7 days) it will work for you forever.

“That’s all for today folks,” says Kamila as her attention turns back to the novelty of the snow that is still falling.

Hibernation? - Not With Blogging

Church of St Nicholas by winter, Yambol, BulgariaYambol's St Nicholas Church

Kamila took a break this weekend, she didn’t go to the village but stayed in town of Yambol with friends who she hadn’t seen for ages. A late night Saturday saw Sunday curtailed with a lie in until midday and why not? Winter here in Bulgaria is all about recovering from the spring, summer and autumn preceding it. It is non-stop for nine months of the year and the period of semi- hibernation has to happen as he batteries need recharging.
Justify Full
It is a tired camel who has not only been blogging but working really hard to survive the coming winter with food and finance for the bills that naturally rise during this season of cold.

The blogging will continue throughout the winter with the hope of a competition or tow that she can win. Currently Kamila is in two minds whether to subscribe to Adgitize this month. She and here team earned just under the $24 dollar that was paid, it is a great return for the traffic that is generated, but the fee could more than cover filling a bottle of gas for heating for a month which is more important than near on a 100 visits each day from the traffic generated advertising. She will decide when the request comes in a week or so.

Entrecard is still going strong, Kamila drops on about 30 a day, time is a big problem with this and she is just on tick over right now. She always drops on those who drop on her, that’s only fair.

Finally, Kamila helped out on a new blogger template on one of her team member’s blog ‘Dosh For U’. We are all very pleased with the result although it is not quite finalised yet. It took a whole afternoon and evening. Kamila invites you to look at the result on the link given.

Kamila Looking At a New Blog Face

Image representing Blogger as depicted in Crun...

Not a week goes by when Kamila looks at how things are going with her blog and reflects on how it can improve. She is not just talking about increased traffic but the overall way her blog looks. It may seem ‘okay’ for new visitors, but to those who visit regularly perhaps it has become to static and needs a new look or style.

Being a ‘blogger’ blogger and on a free web host service the things she can do to spic up her site are surprisingly quite diverse. Kamila found that she can completely change the look of her blog, have sub-menus and broaden her whole blog outlook by using other Blogger designed formats from web designers who are giving them away free. There are hundreds of them to choose from and most absolutely free, albeit the designers name has to be at the foot of the home page – fair do. (E.g. iblogerz.blogspot.com)

With most of these new designs you have to save all you ‘extra add on’ bits and load in again onto the new format. Kamila just doesn’t feel confident enough to do this just yet, but might just experiment with a test site from Blogger. It is free do so she has nothing to lose.

On another front Kamila is also looking at how things are at home in Egypt. The reason was she saw a documentary all about her homeland on television the other day. She still feels that she is indeed fortunate not to be a camel carrier this is a hard life for a camel. She’d much rather be in Bulgaria as a blogging camel writing about it.

Kamila says “ I hope your December is a happy and joyful one!”

Another $100 From AdSense Due Before Christmas

Another $100 From AdSense Due Before ChristmasDay to day is how Kamila is taking thing right now. Who knows what will happen in the future is the though that is fixed in her mid this weekend as she takes a couple of days break from blogging. Who would have thought Kamila would have ended up in Bulgaria as a blogger two years ago?

AdSense came to mind as Kamila’s mind wandered into money making ideas. This week saw the AdSense account nudge over $100 and therefore a payment is due through Western Union before Christmas. What great timing! This is the second $100 plus payment by AdSense over the year and of course once set up is a passive form of earning. Kamila knows that on average only a few cents a day are made, it can be 10 days on occasions where nothing is earned then suddenly $2-3 dollars are made in a day!

Google Adsense Page Navigation

Not being an expert by any means on AdSense, Kamila knows that is she took the AdSense tips that are given on many money making blogs she could make a bit more out of it. This does mean that she would be writing centring on AdSense keywords rather than having a free hand and free willed. But on the other hand what is she doing when she write paid reviews anyway? It is no different and of course Google don’t look as serious at directed key-worded AdSense posting.

Kamila did dabble with AdBrite but found that this really didn’t make any money at all and the ads were a bit naughty on occasions. So she stuck with AdSense and of course has built up a little money for Christmas not for present, but to cover fuel for heating.

Kamila says, "Well worth the wait from AdSense!"

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For A Moment

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For Moment

Kamila couldn’t believe her large brown slanted camel eyes this week. Google must have got fed up with her complaining about them and have awarded her a new PR3. After all the ups and down over recent months, this should now her ranking for at least until the New Year. Funny how Kamila doesn’t really care about Google PR when she is at PR0, but now wears a PR3 with pride. This didn't last long however.

This of course causes more problems on how to go about making money with her blog now. Does she now take up the offers from paid blog reviews, which are coming through, or does she tread carefully to protect her higher PR ranking? The problem lies in that fact that Kamila has to make money and paid blog reviews are the biggest earners by far. “A good PR from Google doesn’t pay the bills!” says Kamila in the background as I now type it out. She is so right though.

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For MomentI know Kamila very well now and I know deep down she feels that Google are too big for their boots. So I feel Kamila will carry on in the same way taking decently paid offer for paid blogging reviews. If she fall down on PR again then so be it, her Alexa rank remains constant and it doesn’t affect traffic she gets. In reality Kamila’s mind is saying that Google will not be in control of her and that’s a good attitude from a Camel who really doesn’t seem to have come of age recently.

Just to add, a recommendation was given by an Entrecard member Funky Town Disco Music a highly entertaining blog which Kamila visits regularly
Quote:
“Interesting articles written in simple and comprehensive by the most famous Camel in Bulgaria. Visit her blog and read her articles. Recommended.”

Kamila’s heart glowed when she saw this and of course approved it for publication.

“Chin up Everyone, Google isn’t God you know!” says Kamila.

No Winnings Yet, But Lots Of Love Waiting Around

No Winning Yet, But Lots Of Love Wating AroundAs you may have noticed Kamila has been doing some paid reviews and is quite open about it. With a PR not stuck at 0 there are only a few opportunities that Kamila is offered. She obviously takes them without any fear as PR0 can't get lower. A few buck here and there all helps at the end of the day.

Kamila has also added a reputable dating site banner above her posts. She knows that true love is very hard to find and she hope that this may help people who really could do with some. It is free to sign up, write up and publish your profile and browse to your hearts content. Kamila of course would find it quite difficult to find other camels looking for love online. One day perhaps there might be a male camel in Bulgaria whom she can date. She did get a Valetine card form someone last February but has still not found out who it was from. Until then all she can do is wish and watch others fall in love around her.

No winnings in competitions yet, but early days and Kamila will be pushing for more over the next week. There seems to be quite a few new competitions coming out right now – It’s the in things at the moment it seems and of course quite a lot of fun.

Finally, Kamila is also saving money at home by helping bottle vegetables that are very cheap in the markets at the moment. This will last right through the winter when the prices will rise in the market. Being a vegetarian camel, this food is just up Kamila’s street.

“Love and Peace to all!” says Kamila

Don't Be Short-Sighted, Buy Glasses Online

Don't Be Short-Sighted, Buy Glasses OnlineKamila doesn’t need or wear prescription glasses, apart from sunglasses on the beach of course. She does however know many people who do and she also know that they are being conned as all of them buy then from the high street optician shops. Why is Kamila saying this?

Well Kamila is a young camel, but very wise one, she knows what is what and living in Bulgaria now for two years now she has learnt how not to waste money. She now can advise on How You Can Start Spending Smart and knows that you can get a pair of prescription glasses at a fraction of the cost of high street opticians. Just as an example $ 8 Rx eyeglasses are a stylish pair that is available amongst hundreds of other designs and fashions to suit all tastes and for all age groups. The deliver is fast and secure and all you need it to choose you style and fill in your current prescription.

Kamila was asked which glasses she would pick if she needed some, and said, “My favorite high fashion eyeglasses are to be kept a secret as it is bad luck in Egypt to say what your favorite things are as it will never come true!” Well Kamila may not give away her favorite eyeglasses but we know when she get older she might need some and then we’ll find out. I’m sure Kamila would buy online with her prudence now well established.

Kamila says “Don’t be short-sighted, buy you glasses online and save a mint!”

Getting A New Web Host? Kamila Has Found A Good Guide

Getting A New Web Host? Kamila Has Found A Good Guide Just to remind everyone, Kamila the Camel is but a simple camel that has travelled a bit and now settled in Bulgaria trying to established herself a living on the Internet. She has found that being an administrator of a websites can as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Many webmasters use very simple methods and are successful, you don’t have to be a genius to make money from the Internet, but just work hard and understand the basics.

It is a great benefit that an incredible amount of help is on the Internet to guide you through some of the mazes of the web. Kamila may well find herself at some point in the future looking at another web hosting provider as Blogger, which she currently uses. It has its limitations and sometimes, especially from pay per posts parties, a bit of prejudice in terms of taking her blog seriously. Other bloggers with free Blogger domain blogs will know what Kamila means by this. Free blogs are definitely discriminated against.

Our computers

When this time comes Kamila will defiantly go to a website that will give the best and impartial advice on what web host is deemed the best from people who actually use them. It is only fools and horses (not camels) that wouldn’t do their research before deciding which web hosting provider to use.

Kamila has found a site that does exactly what every blogger wants when making adventuring beyond the confines of Blogger, namely WebHostingRating.com. It is simply the world's largest independent web hosting directory with complete up-to-date details of all the main web-hosting providers. The benefit of surfing into this site which is basically the best web hosting guide around if you have a new web host in mind and is probably the best move you could make. Kamila has already been there and now looking seriously at the recommendations made from real customer feedbacks that are published there.

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and Competitions

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and CompetitionsKamila has now has entered five competitions and waits for the results. They are all free and easy to enter with prizes ranging from hard cash to air miles. She thinks it won’t be long before she gets some sort of reward for her efforts if nothing else the law of averages dictates that if you persist and never give up something will come her way.

It is some surprise to know that many people just don’t bother with competitions and this give a greater chance for those who do make the effort. Opportunities for competitions have increased tremendously over the last few years especially online and blog competitions, this is good news to bloggers fro another avenue of traffic and earnings.

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and CompetitionsImage via CrunchBase

On another front it seems that Kamila has now settled nicely into a Google PR0 but her Alexa rank stands at 137457. Her aim is to get it under 120,000 over the next few months and under 100,000 by April next year. This will take a lot of work, not least more links can communication with blogging friends and regular posts.

Needless to say spare time in Bulgaria is now increasing with most of the harvests in and food and fuel stocks stored for the coming winter. Come November there will be three months of mega time to kill and that will be spent blogging on these cold and freezing months with plenty of good food and drink on the kitchen table.

“Hope you are all in a cheerful disposition,” says Kamila

Kamila In Competition Mode

Kamila In Competition ModeKamila has yet again been dropped to a PR0. This now has become a yo-yo of events for her as she was a PR2 then a PR0 then a PR3 then a PR2 again and now a PR0 again, and all in the space of a month!

This aside and still gloating about the Adgitize money she got this month, Kamila is now onto a new venture in her spare time. She is now entering competitions to try and win things. She got the idea off a post from Dosh For U where the suggestion of entering all competition that are free and the more you do the better you get at it and the more chance you have to win something.
So in addition to blogging and of course bog competitions as well, Kamila is surfing for competitions sites that give lists of competitions to enter.

Don't forget Cornymans Money-Blog and the 1,000,00 EC competition should also be the first your enter!

There is a four-day holiday in Bulgaria from Saturday to Tuesday and she will be in the village farmhouse harvesting grapes with her friends. There is no Internet there so please forgive Kamila not dropping for that time. She will return on Wednesday with hoof aloof dropping as usual.

“Love to all,” says Kamila

By the way Kamila got an email from Entrecard saying they have introduced a referral program for members with 300 credits for referrals made. If you aren’t a member you won’t know about this if you are then you should. EC Credits don’t seem to have the value they used to have somehow Kamila feels.

A Very Different Home Design Site

A Very Different Home Design SiteKamila has been around and living in many homes, she now thinks that her current home is where she will stay for the duration now. She can’t see herself moving again after having started in Egypt, then to England and now Bulgaria.

Bulgaria to many is a very basic place and the homes they are very simple. Kamila has found that compared to other homes she has lived in their designed are not fashion based. They have been tucked away from the modern world and fashionable home design for so many years it is only now that homes are beginning to take on a modern twist. Of course lack of money doesn’t help either.

It certainly is a fact that many Bulgarian homeowners need Home Improvement Help as Kamila has noticed the lack of real experts here in this field in wanting. In particular there is much room for improvement in Bathroom Design here. It will improve over time of course.

Kamila found a website that is very different to many she has seen on the subject of home improvements and design and she showed a few of her Bulgarian friends, they were quite taken back with the contemporary style and unique way of presenting home design ideas. This was also quite new to Kamila in her much travelled mind. The even had a Do It Yourself Home Inspection which can be made, but Kamila can’t see it happening here as even thought it is good value for money Bulgarians still are quite stuck in their ways and would rather keep their practical styles for now. But others may well want to look at the ideas and modern designs that are now being promoted here, Kamila has not really seen anything like it in the way they present the make up of homes.

Beef From A Forced Vegetarian's Point Of View

Now Kamila might well upset quite a few people by saying what she is about to say, but she is an honest camel and speaks her mind. There is no point in lying just to please other people who have a different point of view.

This may well be quite a surprise to some who know Kamila and now that she is a vegetarian, this is not by choice but a fate of nature that has designed camel to eat a non-meat diet, but that doesn’t dispel her respect for others who are designed to eat meat such as humans. Humans have teeth designed for meat eating and Kamila fully understands why the passion for meat is so apparent for most humans.

When is comes to meat the most sumptuous choice for many is beef, many a craving is in order for this meat and the choices of beef are quite numerous. Bulgaria is not beef eating country and it is very rarely put on the menu in restaurants or eaten as an staple diet. Cows are usually used for milk here so a beefsteak meal is certainly not a speciality in Bulgaria.

Filet Mignon

America is the biggest beef eating country and arguably the country that produce the best beef for eating. Kamila wouldn’t disagree with this assumption from what she has heard from people who have been there and attended and eaten at restaurants that serve prime beef. One of the favourite beef recipes was the filet mignon steaks that just hit the mark. But this was almost as popular as the gourmet steaks which could be considered at the best beef meal in the world. Kamila is actually wishing she has meat eating teeth at his point.

Back to reality, Kamila has to abstain from meat from this physical stance. She not only has teeth that can’t deal with meat but her digestive system wouldn’t cope either. Kamila knows that the passion for meat eating humans is a natural phenomenon and there is no cribbing from her as to regards to this. She respects all who chose to have a diet of their choice and has not problem or vengeance with meat eaters, even being a vegetarian by default. Lucky cats and dogs is what Kamila is thinking right now.

Weekend Blogging And Dropping To Stop?

productive weekend 1Image by Divwerf via Flickr

Kamila is in a bit of a dilemma from a frugal point of view. Here in Bulgaria Kamila uses the Internet in two places. The first in the City of Yambol in the family home, then at weekends she uses the Internet at the farmhouse in the village. The problem lies in that there are two lots of Internet bills.

The town house monthly Internet connection is 22 leva per month and the farmhouse connection 25 leva per month. Even though the village connection is more expensive it substantially slower than the town connection, it takes hours and hours for sites to be downloaded to drop on and of course only used two days of the week. Kamila doesn’t earn enough to cover the cost of both Internet connections so she is seriously think of just being a 5-day-a week blogger and is trying to weigh up what will be lost by not blogging or dropping on Saturday and Sundays.

It seems such a simple decision to make, but there is a sense of letting the side down by not dropping and clicking on 51 Adgitize ads on those weekend days of the week. This will mean her team’s position will drop like a lead balloon in most communities.

Kamila will be thinking about this all today. The bill for August’s Internet connection is due on the 11th August. Will it be paid or will is be discontinued. It can be started up any time again in the future without penalty, that a bonus. I think we know what the decision will be, after all, there is a life outside Entrecard and Kamila thinks that too many bloggers should get out more at weekend especially in glorious summer days as we have right now.

“Bring back free weekends again!” Kamila says.

PS
The holiday break is now booked. Kamila will let you know when she is off.

Adgitize Pays Dividends Again

Adgitize Pays Dividends Again“Wow!” says Kamila after reading an email from Adgitize. This month’s payment fo9r Kamila’s and the team in Bulgaria surpass any previous month with a staggering $23.71. All this for tons of traffic coming in for $14 per month advertising fee of the month leaving a clear profit of $9.71.

This month Ken Brown (Mr Adgitize) has set up a competition with a top prize of $75, yes a hard cash prize. You do nothing other than what you normally do on Adgitize, that is, write posts, click on 51 other Adgitize members’ widgets whilst dropping on Entrecard widgets then sit back and relax. That’s exactly what Kamila does.

Kamila still thinks in terms of time spent on Adgitize, the traffic it generates, the money it generates and the excellent communication and leadership of Adgitize Ken Brown this is the best ‘link exchange’ system around.

It must only be a matter of time before Adgitize becomes a bigger entity. Kamila can’t understand why only around 130 are subscribing to advertising right now. Perhaps some think it is too good to be true. Even if you don’t advertise you are still earning so it is well worth dipping in. there have been many bloggers who have done trials on Adgitize and all Kamila has read about give positive feedback and they continue to run with it.

Kamila invites you to join Adgitize, it’s free and just takes a couple of minutes.
