Hibernation? - Not With Blogging

Church of St Nicholas by winter, Yambol, BulgariaYambol's St Nicholas Church

Kamila took a break this weekend, she didn’t go to the village but stayed in town of Yambol with friends who she hadn’t seen for ages. A late night Saturday saw Sunday curtailed with a lie in until midday and why not? Winter here in Bulgaria is all about recovering from the spring, summer and autumn preceding it. It is non-stop for nine months of the year and the period of semi- hibernation has to happen as he batteries need recharging.
Justify Full
It is a tired camel who has not only been blogging but working really hard to survive the coming winter with food and finance for the bills that naturally rise during this season of cold.

The blogging will continue throughout the winter with the hope of a competition or tow that she can win. Currently Kamila is in two minds whether to subscribe to Adgitize this month. She and here team earned just under the $24 dollar that was paid, it is a great return for the traffic that is generated, but the fee could more than cover filling a bottle of gas for heating for a month which is more important than near on a 100 visits each day from the traffic generated advertising. She will decide when the request comes in a week or so.

Entrecard is still going strong, Kamila drops on about 30 a day, time is a big problem with this and she is just on tick over right now. She always drops on those who drop on her, that’s only fair.

Finally, Kamila helped out on a new blogger template on one of her team member’s blog ‘Dosh For U’. We are all very pleased with the result although it is not quite finalised yet. It took a whole afternoon and evening. Kamila invites you to look at the result on the link given.

Kamila Looking At a New Blog Face

Image representing Blogger as depicted in Crun...

Not a week goes by when Kamila looks at how things are going with her blog and reflects on how it can improve. She is not just talking about increased traffic but the overall way her blog looks. It may seem ‘okay’ for new visitors, but to those who visit regularly perhaps it has become to static and needs a new look or style.

Being a ‘blogger’ blogger and on a free web host service the things she can do to spic up her site are surprisingly quite diverse. Kamila found that she can completely change the look of her blog, have sub-menus and broaden her whole blog outlook by using other Blogger designed formats from web designers who are giving them away free. There are hundreds of them to choose from and most absolutely free, albeit the designers name has to be at the foot of the home page – fair do. (E.g. iblogerz.blogspot.com)

With most of these new designs you have to save all you ‘extra add on’ bits and load in again onto the new format. Kamila just doesn’t feel confident enough to do this just yet, but might just experiment with a test site from Blogger. It is free do so she has nothing to lose.

On another front Kamila is also looking at how things are at home in Egypt. The reason was she saw a documentary all about her homeland on television the other day. She still feels that she is indeed fortunate not to be a camel carrier this is a hard life for a camel. She’d much rather be in Bulgaria as a blogging camel writing about it.

Kamila says “ I hope your December is a happy and joyful one!”

Paid Blog Reviews That Don't Discriminate Against Low Google PR

Image representing Blogger as depicted in Crun...

Kamila has found herself being penalised for having a Google PR of '0' by both Blog Reviews and Pay Per Post, that is bar the $1 and sub $1 offers which Kamila refuse to entertain on principle of being manipulated. There are no earning now forthcoming form this kind of venture and her earning are no solely from Adgitize, CMF, Project Wonderful and Google Adsense. Apart from Adgitize who wins by a mile in payout and traffic, (see Kamila’s last post), the rest just pay nominal especially is you pay for additional ads in return which Kamila does.

Paid Blog Review That Don't Discriminate Against Low Google PRThere are for course the Kamila competition entries, but this is not for money, but for back links, prizes that she has no control over and of course a great deal of luck which she cant’ rely on. This now leads to a question from Kamila to other fellow bloggers. This question is:
Does anyone know of companies that pay for blog reviews from a blogspot sub domain blogger that doesn’t take Google PR into account?

I’m sure there are literally hundreds of others who would like to know. Kamila understands that if there are bloggers who use such a pay review system they might want to dissuade other members to sign up that would increase competition. But then there might be a referral reward in place, if so Kamila would of course quote the referrer in every case.
“Thanks for your help in advance,” says Kamila

More Money, Traffic And Smiles From Adgitize

More Money, Traffic And Smiles From Adgitize

It just gets better each month with Adgitize. Here are the last four months payments made to Kamila’s comrades:

Payment Date: 6/7/2009 12:00:00 AM
Payment Amount: $10.90
Payment Type: PayPal

Payment Date: 7/8/2009 12:00:00 AM
Payment Amount: $23.19
Payment Type: PayPal

Payment Date: 8/5/2009 12:00:00 AM
Payment Amount: $23.71 Payment Type: PayPal

Payment Date: 9/7/2009 12:00:00 AM
Payment Amount: $25.99
Payment Type: PayPal

This month was a whopping $25.99. If you take off the $14 payment made for being an advertiser this leaves $11.99 clear profit plus over 100 visits a day!

Kamila can’t state strong enough how good Adgitize is for traffic and profit with less than 15 minutes a day spend on clicking on 51 other Adgitize advertisers in conjunction with EC drops.
If you aren’t with Adgitize then there must be a good reason why you aren’t Kamila can’t think of one and she has though good and hard!

If you want to see how it works or sign up, which is free and easy, click on the box below. Well worth seeing other bloggers who have giving good feedback on Adgitize.

More Money, Traffic And Smiles From AdgitizeBy the way, after getting a PR3, it lasted 6 days then Kamila fell to a PR2 for a few days beyond that. Now it has gone back to PR0! Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Google, but Kamila has been well past caring what PR she is for quite a while now.

Finally, there is still time to enter Cornyman's 1,000,00 EC competition. Just look at Kamila's previous post!

'Chins Up'. Says Kamila

Kamila was looking for a way of getting her PR2 back, but then she though, why should she. Nothing has changed with her blog, her traffic in fact if anything it is improving very week. All that has happened is that Google have assessed her as having a blog that has no gravity in the world of the Internet. Only Google, no one else! So now Kamila will carry on as normal, she will not be bullied into changing her ways, why should she. She is not after high search engine listing, but just writing a blog that can earn a little income for her up keep. To all those who have been sandboxed like Kamila, don’t let this put you off, you have not done anything wrong. In a blogosphere environment there is one party who think they are God, but they aren’t. “Chins up“, says Kamila Kamila was looking for a way of getting her PR2 back, but then she thought, why should she. Kamila Opts Back Into AdSense Mode For Good Reason

Kamila Opts Back Into Adsense Mode For Good Reason

It has been a month now with Adbrite and Kamila is not happy at all with either the funds she gets or some of the ads that are put on there. At time there was impromptu ads that popped up and readers had to click on the top right hand side to get rid of it. Kamila humbly apologises for this. She did actually opt out of that kind of ad on application, but it obviously got through somehow.

Kamila Opts Back Into Adsense Mode For Good ReasonIt is now back on home ground to good old AdSense. She may only get a few cents a day, but at least the ads are reliable and there is a chance of a bigger funds from clicks every now and again. With Adbrite it was 1 cent a day and that wasn’t going to improve.

Kamila knew that you need lots of traffic to attract ads that pay more and that just wasn’t going to happen with Adbrite.

“Oh well!” says Kamila, “At least I tried.”

Google Is Unfair To Bloggers That Want To Earn

Image representing Google as depicted in Crunc...

Kamila has been doing some reading up and found that Google are not very fair to people and camels who want to earn a little money by blogging. There is an inherent problem with writing Pay Per Post articles. This has serious implications on blogs such is the system used and she is quite worried that Pay Per Post or similar systems could be a quick cash in but short lived.

Kamila knows that you need a Google Page Rank to get assignments, the higher the rank the more you are offered and the higher the fees paid. Now Kamila has worked hard to get a PR 2 but when Google sees that sponsors are paying her on her blog they take a dim view of this and assign a PR0 to your blog.

This is a big worry as with a PR0 there will be very little assignments all that work to get the PR2 in the first instance undone by a few posts that have been sponsored. So what can she do? Well there doesn’t seem to be and answer tot his and Kamila feels that Google are quite unfair to discriminate against bloggers that want to earn a little. It is a world of business anyway; Google should know that and Kamila feels that in the laws of supply and demand it should have a free hand. If someone takes offence with a sponsored post, then they don’t have to read that blog, surely it doesn’t need Google acting as ‘Big Brother’ to put a curfew on their PR.

Kamila being a camel that likes the desert, she doesn’t want to be sand boxed by Google fro simply trying to earn a few bucks, after all blogging is a form of work, why shouldn’t you get paid for it.

Kamila asks, “Does anyone out there know an answer to this problem?”

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From Google

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From Google

Kamila has been learning about Google ranks pages, as this is important to getting more business. She found that it is based on a voting system. She discovered that when other sites link to her blog they get’ brownie points’ in Google’s eyes.

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From GoogleWith Kamila with masses of curiosity still on high she found that the best way to increase your page rank score is to have other high-ranked sites link to hers. This is quite tricky to achieve and involves lots of work but there is another way. If Kamila submits her site's URL to blog directories such as the DMOS or becomes a member of various blog rings she will gain much more exposure.

Kamila to date has been making friend and linking with them, that seems to work very well as well.

Three Tools for Self-Sufficiency

It was a monster knife Kamila caught site of in the summer house and getting close it dwarfed here as she to sat on the Bulgarian spade.

We told here that the big knife is a Bulgarian Scythe which cuts the long grass for hay. The Bulgarian spade she sat on was fore braking up the soil and the blue rake is for smoothing out the soil for planting.

With these three tools you have everything you need to successfully grow and maintain the land. Every Bulgarian in the village has these tools and some are up to 50 years old and still work perfectly.

Kamila was quite amazed that this was all that was needed to be self sufficient on the land.
