Growing Crops Versus Blogging As An Investment

It is a busy Kamila, but not blogging right now. Funny though, even though she hasn't blogged for a few weeks the traffic she get is still running really well. Kamila understand that many loyal EC and Adgitise friends remain dropping on her event hough she hasn't had the time to reciprocate for a while and this is appreciated.

A question that cam into Kamila's mind recently is how long would it take for you Google ranking to drop if you suddenly stop blogging for a while? She know many blogs that haven't had any new postings for over six months yet they still hold a high Google PR. Surely Google must weigh this up and take account for it, or is the traffic still high on these static blogs through links that this is more of a major weight on PR?

It iw not that Kamila is going AWOL for six months but she is taking a little backwater time now spring is here and the manual work really begins off line. After all, investment in the spring and summer pay off with produce food for the next winter. Sometimes Kamila thinks that the time invested in farming crops is a more effective form of return than blogging! How much is a kilogram of tomatoes grown worth compared to earnings from Adsense or Project Wonderful, no competition the tomatoes win hands down!

So making money by blogging out of the growing season makes sense, but to be stuck in front of a laptop with the sun shining on the land waiting to be sown with seeds is not financially prudent. Perhaps this may give other bloggers tied to their blogs a little thought.

Hits4Pay - Another Scammer

Well it has been some time since becoming part of a click for pay scheme that promises little but often money on a regular basis. All you have to do is wait for an email then click on the links and open up an advertisers site fro 30 seconds and 2 cents is yours.

The biggest attraction for Kamila with this was the £10 sign up fee that they promise and give and with a $25 payout level it seemed that money was assured. Kamila signed up in July 2006, yes nearly four years ago. Since this time she has clicked on every ad that was sent through email and picked up a couple of customers where she gets 1 cent per click from them. There has been no time where she has not taken offers of pay per click jobs.

Look at this!

Since July 2006 the earnings have been on $1.39 (plus of course the $10 sign up fee!

How long would it be before the $25 dollar payout level is reached. Well Kamila would be dead and buried from old age by the time that happens.

Even with 100 people being referred it would still take decades before that payout mark is reached. The bottom line is that it is a scam.

There is no intention to pay out from this scheme as they ensure you never reach that $25! Just like the scammers Blogadvertisingstore, they get bloggers who need the money wasting their and effort with this scam.

So if you see an advert for Hits4Pay

DON'T BOTHER!
My, my, Kamila is finding out about many scams recently and it is a much wiser camel who tread the web right now.

Kamila's says, "I hope many of you haven't wasted too much time on this scammer!"

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For A Moment

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For Moment

Kamila couldn’t believe her large brown slanted camel eyes this week. Google must have got fed up with her complaining about them and have awarded her a new PR3. After all the ups and down over recent months, this should now her ranking for at least until the New Year. Funny how Kamila doesn’t really care about Google PR when she is at PR0, but now wears a PR3 with pride. This didn't last long however.

This of course causes more problems on how to go about making money with her blog now. Does she now take up the offers from paid blog reviews, which are coming through, or does she tread carefully to protect her higher PR ranking? The problem lies in that fact that Kamila has to make money and paid blog reviews are the biggest earners by far. “A good PR from Google doesn’t pay the bills!” says Kamila in the background as I now type it out. She is so right though.

Kamila Is Over The Moon With A PR3, But Only For MomentI know Kamila very well now and I know deep down she feels that Google are too big for their boots. So I feel Kamila will carry on in the same way taking decently paid offer for paid blogging reviews. If she fall down on PR again then so be it, her Alexa rank remains constant and it doesn’t affect traffic she gets. In reality Kamila’s mind is saying that Google will not be in control of her and that’s a good attitude from a Camel who really doesn’t seem to have come of age recently.

Just to add, a recommendation was given by an Entrecard member Funky Town Disco Music a highly entertaining blog which Kamila visits regularly
Quote:
“Interesting articles written in simple and comprehensive by the most famous Camel in Bulgaria. Visit her blog and read her articles. Recommended.”

Kamila’s heart glowed when she saw this and of course approved it for publication.

“Chin up Everyone, Google isn’t God you know!” says Kamila.

Paid Blog Reviews That Don't Discriminate Against Low Google PR

Image representing Blogger as depicted in Crun...

Kamila has found herself being penalised for having a Google PR of '0' by both Blog Reviews and Pay Per Post, that is bar the $1 and sub $1 offers which Kamila refuse to entertain on principle of being manipulated. There are no earning now forthcoming form this kind of venture and her earning are no solely from Adgitize, CMF, Project Wonderful and Google Adsense. Apart from Adgitize who wins by a mile in payout and traffic, (see Kamila’s last post), the rest just pay nominal especially is you pay for additional ads in return which Kamila does.

Paid Blog Review That Don't Discriminate Against Low Google PRThere are for course the Kamila competition entries, but this is not for money, but for back links, prizes that she has no control over and of course a great deal of luck which she cant’ rely on. This now leads to a question from Kamila to other fellow bloggers. This question is:
Does anyone know of companies that pay for blog reviews from a blogspot sub domain blogger that doesn’t take Google PR into account?

I’m sure there are literally hundreds of others who would like to know. Kamila understands that if there are bloggers who use such a pay review system they might want to dissuade other members to sign up that would increase competition. But then there might be a referral reward in place, if so Kamila would of course quote the referrer in every case.
“Thanks for your help in advance,” says Kamila

An Optimum 200 Word Long Blog

An Optimum 200 Word Long BlogKamila after having entered a few online competitions is now waiting for the results. This is quite exciting, but she knows that here chances of winning are slim as all the competitions she entered were free and therefore many others entered them as well. She will have to wait for the results, but won’t hold her breath.

One of the good things about entering these competitions is that in many case Kamila’s blog gets back links for doing so. This to Kamila is a bit of a winner in itself if the competition blog is of good Google standing. Besides which entering a competition is certainly not as boring as completing a blog directory entry!

Entrecard drops haven’t been as prolific as it was a month ago, the reason is quite simply that the time spent on dropping could be spent on doing something more constructive such as writing a blog or entering a competition. The difference between getting 20 EC members dropping on her as opposed to 50 doesn’t make any difference to anything as 90% are drop and run folk.

You won’t have noticed that this blog is exactly an optimum 200 words long, this was Kamila’s plan.

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and Competitions

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and CompetitionsKamila has now has entered five competitions and waits for the results. They are all free and easy to enter with prizes ranging from hard cash to air miles. She thinks it won’t be long before she gets some sort of reward for her efforts if nothing else the law of averages dictates that if you persist and never give up something will come her way.

It is some surprise to know that many people just don’t bother with competitions and this give a greater chance for those who do make the effort. Opportunities for competitions have increased tremendously over the last few years especially online and blog competitions, this is good news to bloggers fro another avenue of traffic and earnings.

Kamila's Thoughts On Alexa Targets and CompetitionsImage via CrunchBase

On another front it seems that Kamila has now settled nicely into a Google PR0 but her Alexa rank stands at 137457. Her aim is to get it under 120,000 over the next few months and under 100,000 by April next year. This will take a lot of work, not least more links can communication with blogging friends and regular posts.

Needless to say spare time in Bulgaria is now increasing with most of the harvests in and food and fuel stocks stored for the coming winter. Come November there will be three months of mega time to kill and that will be spent blogging on these cold and freezing months with plenty of good food and drink on the kitchen table.

“Hope you are all in a cheerful disposition,” says Kamila

Kamila can’t state strong enough how good Adgitize is for traffic and profit with less than 15 minutes a day spend on clicking on 51 other Adgitize advertisers in conjunction with EC drops.
If you aren’t with Adgitize then there must be a good reason why you aren’t Kamila can’t think of one and she has though good and hard!

If you want to see how it works or sign up, which is free and easy, click on the box below. Well worth seeing other bloggers who have giving good feedback on Adgitize.

More Money, Traffic And Smiles From AdgitizeBy the way, after getting a PR3, it lasted 6 days then Kamila fell to a PR2 for a few days beyond that. Now it has gone back to PR0! Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Google, but Kamila has been well past caring what PR she is for quite a while now.

Finally, there is still time to enter Cornyman's 1,000,00 EC competition. Just look at Kamila's previous post!

Chance To Win 4000 EC Credits - Just Comment

Before Kamila starts anything, she is all confused as from being a PR2 then apparently sandboxed by Google to a PR0. She now finds herself with a PR3! This is a complete mystery throughout all the changes, which leads Kamila into thinking that Google really is beyond confusing.

How long her PR3 lasts is another matter. It could be a few days or weeks. Who knows, or more to the point who cares? Kamila has gone beyond that now. At least she might get a few decent Pay Per Post jobs while it last!

Kamila asks is you can check out these past articles from her blog and give some comments on them. Kamila has been reflecting on the year and sometimes forgets how much learning has gone on in that time. I was such a good time reflecting on what has happened and she hopes you can enjoy them as well.

This is in conjunction with Cornymans Money-Blog and the 1,000,00 EC competition that starts today. can win 4.000 ECs, for each comment with 3 to 4 sentences. You need to read the rules first which can be found on Cornymans Money-Blog. Kamila hopes you can put some constructive comments for her where you have a chance to win 4000 EC credits this week.

A summary of the prizes are that the first 40 comments will get each 75 EC + 2 members can win 500 EC - (totalling 4.000 EC)

Wishing you all the best all the time along with good luck
- Kamila -

'Chins Up'. Says Kamila

Kamila was looking for a way of getting her PR2 back, but then she though, why should she. Nothing has changed with her blog, her traffic in fact if anything it is improving very week. All that has happened is that Google have assessed her as having a blog that has no gravity in the world of the Internet. Only Google, no one else! So now Kamila will carry on as normal, she will not be bullied into changing her ways, why should she. She is not after high search engine listing, but just writing a blog that can earn a little income for her up keep. To all those who have been sandboxed like Kamila, don’t let this put you off, you have not done anything wrong. In a blogosphere environment there is one party who think they are God, but they aren’t. “Chins up“, says Kamila Kamila was looking for a way of getting her PR2 back, but then she thought, why should she. Kamila Sandboxed By Google

Kamila Sandboxed By Google

Kamila today found out that Google have been quite unfair with now making her PR0 from her recent PR2. Technically it is called being sandboxed Kamila thinks. She can only assume that this was from doing a couple of Pay Per Post blogs and nothing else. This mean that more Pay Per Post jobs are going to be like gold dust and pay even less with her PR value at zero!

Not good news, but Kamila is upbeat at least her Alexa rank is well under 200k and improving.

Kamila Sandboxed By GoogleOn another front, there is 100,000 EC credits plus $20 (from a kind donor) for anyone who wants to sell a digital camera. Kamila wants to take more pictures of herself for her website and the current camera’s lens is flawed. If anyone is interested please go to the Entrecard Forum and look up 'Physical Goods' where further details can be found.

A short blog today from Kamila who has to now try and look for a new source of income. How ironic that yesterday’s post was about looking for other sources of income from blogging.

Take Care Everyone

Kamila Opts Back Into AdSense Mode For Good Reason

Kamila Opts Back Into Adsense Mode For Good Reason

It has been a month now with Adbrite and Kamila is not happy at all with either the funds she gets or some of the ads that are put on there. At time there was impromptu ads that popped up and readers had to click on the top right hand side to get rid of it. Kamila humbly apologises for this. She did actually opt out of that kind of ad on application, but it obviously got through somehow.

Kamila Opts Back Into Adsense Mode For Good ReasonIt is now back on home ground to good old AdSense. She may only get a few cents a day, but at least the ads are reliable and there is a chance of a bigger funds from clicks every now and again. With Adbrite it was 1 cent a day and that wasn’t going to improve.

Kamila knew that you need lots of traffic to attract ads that pay more and that just wasn’t going to happen with Adbrite.

“Oh well!” says Kamila, “At least I tried.”

Kamila Secures Another PR5 Back Link

Kamila Secures Another PR5 Back LinkKamila always has that ‘feel good factor’ when she submits here blog into a directory and gets accepted. Today is one of those days and it is an even better feeling know that the directory called the Super Blog directory is a PR5.

Many directories just accept Kamila blog link without much vetting, surely that is a sign that the directory doesn‘t care too much about quality blogs it lists. Kamila still applies for all directories she can lay her hands on, but quality directories are more likely to get you visitors.

Kamila Secures Another PR5 Back LinkIt is always in Kamila’s mind that all this work will pay dividends later in the years when Google see the array of high ranking back-links she has accumulated. As Kamila has said before, it is all about doing a little each day rather than sporadic cramming. She is right you know!

Five Simple Tips To Get Better Google Search Engine Rankings

LONDON - APRIL 13: (FILE PHOTO) In this photo...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

There are simple little tips to get you further up the Google search engine rankings, which Kamila found out the other day. She knows of course that there is 101 ways where you can improve in this area, but “Cairo wasn’t built in a day,” as Kamila says.

Kamila found out that the tips to get further up the list of Google search engine ranking is really easy to do. Kamila being a kind and generous camel is going to give a five-tip list for others:

  1. The title of a post should have keywords in it.
  2. The keywords should be written up and labelled in the tag section.
  3. Key words should be mentioned in the first couple of sentences and spread out in other places in the post.
  4. Mark these key words bold to give them more weighting in Google’s eyes.
  5. If you have any pictures in your post, look for it in the HTML version of the post. Then look for alt="" and post the title in between the inverted commas e.g. alt=”copy and paste you title here”.

Five Simple Tips To Get Better Google Search Engine RankingsMost bloggers know about this and practice, but many don’t including Kamila up until now. This is all new to her and another step along the way of becoming a more successful camel blogger. She just didn’t know that these little tips would make a big difference to the way Google look at her posts.

“Happy SEOing!” says Kamila.

Zimbio - Doing Kamila A Favour For Nothing

Zimbio - Doing Kamila A Favour For Nothing

Kamila submitted to another site today called Zimbio. It is not a directory, but she found it would have the same effect. It is an interactive magazine that has over 18 million readers and is a Google PR 6. So Kamila now has a link that is updated each time she posts a blog on a high PR.

Kamila obviously read up before she joined and found that Zimbio takes members’ personal posts and makes them available to a network of wikizines. These them can be made into you own new wikizine in minutes. You can vote on the quality, add comments, write more articles, add opinions and interact with others. Kamila however won’t be doing much of that. She is just quite content knowing that each time she publishes a post it will be updated with Zimbio. There is an in-house point system they use as well.

This is Kamila’s policy now, to look for new ways where she can get linked in to higher-ranking sites, which will look good and improve her own ranking hopefully.

The little blue Zimbio widget also fits in really neatly with all the others she has joined previously. It took just one minute to sign up for free, another minute to place the widget on her blog and the job is done!

Kamila Now Uses Free Link Sites

Kamila looks like she will be spending more time on getting back links as she aims to get a PR3 for the next Google assessment. Finding high PR sites to get back links on isn’t that difficult.

She has already opened an account now with two free link sites Link2me and Linkmarket where she can pick and choose which sites she wants to exchange links with. This way they will be also relevant to Kamila’s site. She already has a few that she has exchanged with but has refused more than she has taken on.

Kamila has found that it does take a little time out of your day to do this, but it pays dividends in the long run. She now makes it part of her daily routine to check these two sites for new links she can request and of course sites that have requested her link. The beauty is this service is free but you do have the option to pay for a premium service with all the trimmings. Kamila is quite happy doing a little each day rather than subscribe and overload her site.

Little by little regularly seems to be the key to success in blogging.

“Take Care,” says Kamila.

Google Is Unfair To Bloggers That Want To Earn

Image representing Google as depicted in Crunc...

Kamila has been doing some reading up and found that Google are not very fair to people and camels who want to earn a little money by blogging. There is an inherent problem with writing Pay Per Post articles. This has serious implications on blogs such is the system used and she is quite worried that Pay Per Post or similar systems could be a quick cash in but short lived.

Kamila knows that you need a Google Page Rank to get assignments, the higher the rank the more you are offered and the higher the fees paid. Now Kamila has worked hard to get a PR 2 but when Google sees that sponsors are paying her on her blog they take a dim view of this and assign a PR0 to your blog.

This is a big worry as with a PR0 there will be very little assignments all that work to get the PR2 in the first instance undone by a few posts that have been sponsored. So what can she do? Well there doesn’t seem to be and answer tot his and Kamila feels that Google are quite unfair to discriminate against bloggers that want to earn a little. It is a world of business anyway; Google should know that and Kamila feels that in the laws of supply and demand it should have a free hand. If someone takes offence with a sponsored post, then they don’t have to read that blog, surely it doesn’t need Google acting as ‘Big Brother’ to put a curfew on their PR.

Kamila being a camel that likes the desert, she doesn’t want to be sand boxed by Google fro simply trying to earn a few bucks, after all blogging is a form of work, why shouldn’t you get paid for it.

Kamila asks, “Does anyone out there know an answer to this problem?”

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From Google

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From Google

Kamila has been learning about Google ranks pages, as this is important to getting more business. She found that it is based on a voting system. She discovered that when other sites link to her blog they get’ brownie points’ in Google’s eyes.

How To Get A Higher Page Rank From GoogleWith Kamila with masses of curiosity still on high she found that the best way to increase your page rank score is to have other high-ranked sites link to hers. This is quite tricky to achieve and involves lots of work but there is another way. If Kamila submits her site's URL to blog directories such as the DMOS or becomes a member of various blog rings she will gain much more exposure.

Kamila to date has been making friend and linking with them, that seems to work very well as well.
