Growing Crops Versus Blogging As An Investment

It is a busy Kamila, but not blogging right now. Funny though, even though she hasn't blogged for a few weeks the traffic she get is still running really well. Kamila understand that many loyal EC and Adgitise friends remain dropping on her event hough she hasn't had the time to reciprocate for a while and this is appreciated.

A question that cam into Kamila's mind recently is how long would it take for you Google ranking to drop if you suddenly stop blogging for a while? She know many blogs that haven't had any new postings for over six months yet they still hold a high Google PR. Surely Google must weigh this up and take account for it, or is the traffic still high on these static blogs through links that this is more of a major weight on PR?

It iw not that Kamila is going AWOL for six months but she is taking a little backwater time now spring is here and the manual work really begins off line. After all, investment in the spring and summer pay off with produce food for the next winter. Sometimes Kamila thinks that the time invested in farming crops is a more effective form of return than blogging! How much is a kilogram of tomatoes grown worth compared to earnings from Adsense or Project Wonderful, no competition the tomatoes win hands down!

So making money by blogging out of the growing season makes sense, but to be stuck in front of a laptop with the sun shining on the land waiting to be sown with seeds is not financially prudent. Perhaps this may give other bloggers tied to their blogs a little thought.

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From It

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From ItKamila saw the first snow of the year this weekend something she is still getting used to in Bulgaria. Pretty it is, but quite inconvenient for planting garlic sets that was planned this weekend. So it was back to blogging offline with her thinking cap on.

There is a very useful article directory that has been of great benefit to Kamila’s team and blogs that she is associated with. Ezine Articles has already awarded an Expert Author to Slivatree, which is the webmaster's pen name for over least 13 blogs! Ezine Articles are stricter about the content of articles than many other similar sites. This thorough vetting process gives the site more credibility and the readers who use it to search for articles more confidence that they can guarantee a well written article when looking up subjects or topics.

Kamila has been a member of Ezine for well over a year now approaching 100 articles with juicy back links. The traffic generated from this is substantial and consistent and of course a new breed of reader other than Entrecard and Adgitize who drop and run in the main. The hits you get are from readers who want to read you article and if they like it visit the course (you blog site) for more.

The secret of generating more traffic with Ezine Articles is easy, but it has to be word and grammar perfect and the topics you write about have to be respectful and have constructive format. Kamila had one rejected recently on a shopping review - it was refused because it wasn’t a positive review.

Kamila Recommends Ezine Articles - Nothing But Good From ItIt takes around five minutes from taking a post you might just have written (it has to be 250+ words) and pasting it as a submitted article. Well worth taking the time to do this and build up a repertoire or articles that will help you blog become more popular. Kamila reminds you that once it is accepted (takes around 5-7 days) it will work for you forever.

“That’s all for today folks,” says Kamila as her attention turns back to the novelty of the snow that is still falling.

Kamila Discovers Other Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Blog

Kamila Discovers Other Ways To Drive Traffic To Your BlogKamila has been thinking and has come up with some ideas that will give little help on how to create more traffic to your blog and therefore increase the earning potential. It is so easy and Kamila doesn’t know why bloggers don’t use these little ways all the time and not just in a quick burst when the idea is in their head. The secret it to do make it part of you daily routine that way you will see the results coming through on a constant climb rather than rise and stutter.

Entrecard and Adgitize members make it a routine to drop daily, these bloggers don’t think twice about doing this, why don’t they do the same for other traffic generating schemes that are sitting there waiting to be used. What’s more Kamila figured out that these other ways would give you more traffic that don’t just drop and run.

Yahoo! Inc.

Number one and one of the biggest blogging communities online is BlogCatalog Kamila is a popular member there and visits the community daily adding a few friends each time who invariably visit her site before returning the compliment. Then there is MyBlogLog, a Yahoo run blogging community that doesn’t basically the same thing and so does Kamila, a few new contacts each day bring in interest and more traffic. Both communities has many ‘extra features that can drive traffic to your blog and your new posts appear to all members when published. IT will also boost you PR and Alex factors as well as back links are being fired in.

Kamila is a fan of both sets of communities and run alongside Entrecard and Adgitize daily visits give an extra dimension of traffic coming in. Well worth a look in if you aren’t already members of these communities and if you are, log in daily, it will make a difference in the long run. Oh and by the way Kamila mentions that if you have multiple blogs these are ideal mediums to spread the word of all your blogs under one cover as long as you add them to your collection under you user name. Kamila has quite a few alongside as many of you may know.

“Happy blogging as always!” says Kamila.

Cornyman Needs A Lift - EC Members Can Help

Kamila has come back from grape picking for four days and just heard that Cornyman has cancel the whopping 1,000,000 EC contest due to lack of support which is giving no real benefit to the generous sponsors who put up an incredible amount of cash EC credits and other goodies. This is was a big shock for Kamila who was the first blogger to be put up for the competition.

Kamila knows that Cornyman has put in a tremendous amount effort and dedication to this competition and in return it has gone pear shaped. Making a financial success out of blogging is a hard game as many have found out and given up. Kamila just hopes that Cornyman bounces back with new vigour and doesn’t let this put him off from trying other enterprises in the blogging world.

It is true to say from a Camel who has been blogging now for well over a year now that the blogging world needs more people like Cornyman or Martin those who don’t know. People like him make the blogging world tick and many bloggers including Kamila are more than grateful for his efforts that certainly haven’t gone unnoticed.

Kamila suggests that all people who appreciate Martin’s efforts that they should comment on his blog thanking him for his tremendous and ambitious effort. Kamila has done this already. Martin certainly needs a lift right now and bloggers who care like Kamila and many other EC members can help with this Here's the link ----> http://cornys-moneypage.blogspot.com/

Dangling Carrot - No Guarantees Though

Dangling Carrot - No Guarantees ThoughImage via Wikipedia

It is Kamila now with her thinking cap on as she tries now to think about how to get people to stop off more at her blog when they are surfing. She is becoming a little concerned with the bounce rate of her visitors and knows that this could affect her PR2 as it stands.

Kamila knows that in order for someone to dwell on her blog she has to have preverbal carrot dangling on a stick. Now Kamila doesn’t confess to be too knowledgeable just yet into the complexities of psychology and advertising skills, but she not stupid and on a first level she has a good idea that many might want to follow.

Surfing through the first thing Kamila sees on a blog is the title and the next thing either a wad of text or a picture. Kamila just thought over this and came to the conclusion that the title has to be such that it would pull blogger, that was the first thing. The title is the most important aspect of a blog. To prove this you just have to surf and make a list of the blogs that you dwelled upon, it is the titles that swung it. Try it make a list of those blogs you read and see if Kamila is right.

Dangling Carrot - No Guarantees ThoughThe next thing Kamila thought of was pictures, they make such a difference to a blog posting. If you have a title that pulls you in and an interesting and relevant picture within the same frame you are well on your way to avoiding a bouncing guest. It is such a simple formula but with no guarantees. If someone is just there for the drop no matter what you put in your post to entice won’t make any difference.

Well Kamila knows the proof of the pudding is in the tasting, but is happy that she had discovered a little more about how to attract bloggers for longer.

Kamila says, “Wow, it’s hot here today!”

Drop And Run - A Natural Process In Blogging

Drop And Run - A Natural Process In Blogging

Kamila understands why people are moaning about drop and run bloggers on Entrecard and Adgitize? The ‘bounce’ factor is a concern to many who fear Google will think their blogs are not keeping people’s attention. But the extent of criticism Kamila feels is unfair.

There is a demand to just click for traffic by drop and run tactics and that’s one option many people take especially if their blogs desperately need traffic. If bloggers don’t want this type of traffic, (bouncing traffic) then they can quite simply withdraw their membership from communities that churn this type of traffic out. There is no point just moaning about all that does is create a bad feeling and alienate bloggers it is better to just move on. On Entrecard this will probably change soon though.

Kamila puts her hands up and admits she does sometimes run through some blogs on a drop and run basis, but she dwells on those that create interest for her. It is natural that good blogs will get less of a, ‘bounce’ type traffic. Most bloggers will pause, read, comment and perhaps interact with interesting elements on some blogs they find that distracts the when they are clicking through. Then others they will just click through. There is no point in dwelling on a blog that you have no interest in. She can’t see what all the fuss and bad feeling is.

There will always be a certain percentage of bloggers who will just be there for quick clicks, but for Entrecard now to put a detection system in on drop and run bloggers so they won’t get credits Kamila feels is a bit extreme. If blogs surfed aren’t of interest to bloggers they just won’t bother visiting them after initial assessment in the first instance.

Drop And Run - A Natural Process In BloggingIn all instances Kamila will continue to use the same method of dropping on those who have dropped on her and many will be paused upon if Kamila finds them drawing her in. Others she will just bypass, will she click on the latter if there is no credit involved? Mmmmm, knowing Kamila she will because she is that type of camel, but other bloggers, well we’ll see.

"HAVE A LOVELY WEKEND YA ALL!" - Says Kamila

Kamila Remains A Blogspot Blogger

Image representing Blogger as depicted in Crun...

Kamila has decided to remain under the blogspot banner. This wasn’t an easy decision and it was based on the fact that she has seen many other esteemed bloggers happily running blogs on the same format. At the end of the day a re-run of building up her PR from scratch and looking many back links is a step too far and she does intend to become a blogging empire. She just wants to earn a few dollars a day to help out the Bulgarian family she lives with. What she should have done was get her own domain when starting up, that is the advice that comes out loud and clear from more experienced bloggers.

So, Kamila is not changing anything right now and is quite content with that.

On another front, Kamila tried out the ‘Entrebar’ system where you can drop from a menu bar without having to go into the Entrecard site. She found it useful but there were little bugs in the system that caused the bar to mix up with the existing navigation bar when not actively in use. Also she couldn’t drop on cards that had been dropped on her from the day before. As the new day starts at 7:00 in the morning in Bulgaria, Kamila likes to do her drops just after the day kicks in and there are only a couple of droppers for that new day. She doesn’t like the idea of dropping in the evening as she joins the Bulgarian family outside each evening. With this in mind she does not use the system, but feels it would be good for others who have different routines.

“Have a lovely weekend,” says Kamila.

Thoughtful Widget Placements For Entrecard and Adgitize

Thoughtful Widget Placements For Entrecard and Adgitize

As Kamila drops on fellow Entrecard and Adgitize members, she notices that many are doing the sensible thing by place both respective widgets in the same frame. This make thing so much smoother for droppers that is a partisan to both parties.

Thoughtful Widget Placements For Entrecard and AdgitizeKamila does the same thing herself as she is a thoughtful camel and wants to make it easier for her friends that drop in. Beside she only has one post on her home page so an added bonus is that droppers don’t need to scroll down at all. She does wonder why others put the widgets in separate segments of their blog home page and wondered if it was because they wanted dropper to linger longer on their sites and avoid the ‘bouncing’ affect.

Then Kamila thought a bit more, if droppers are going to bounce their drops they wouldn’t bother wasting time scrolling up and down in search of the elusive second widget. Kamila like many other bloggers that drop will browse the site as well as drop and if something holds their attention they will read on before moving on. Surely this is the beauty of Entrecard an Adgitize, you get rewarded for reading many blogs, which is what you’d do anyway.

Without wanting to sound like a fusspot, Kamila will always drop on those who have dropped on hers before she does anything else. Then she can go on to choose other interesting blogs to browse, whether they have the widgets together or not.

This is all fun for Kamila who seems to be growing in blogging stature now as each week goes by.
