Kamila is Looking Forward to Christmas

Well it has been quite journey over the last ten years and Kamila the Camel the original and only Camel Blogger has seen lots, perhaps too much for her own good over the last decade.

It would be quite understandable for Kamila to be confused with life and cultures she has been through - so diverse! From Kuwait to London to Bulgaria to London again and then back to Bulgaria. If you asked her where she felt more at home what do you thing the answer would be?

If there is one thing Kamila loves more than most it is Christmas and the lead up to the event. Now she does not have a religion, but the ideal of celebrations for Christmas appeal to her. It is a happy occasion not only for Christians but for her to respect the culture she has now found herself in and be part of that culture. As Kamila said, "When in Rome?" I must admit it is a deeply respective Kamila who has the courage and humility to accommodate a foreign culture without any prejudice.

Having said that, Kamila get s a bit impatient for Christmas to come. In the UK it was upon her in October with a three month build up! In Kuwait, noth In Bulgaria they haven't even started thinking about it in local shops and only a sprinkling on TV from manipulative business minded companies who are trying to steamroller the people into spending throughout the lead up to Christmas. Kamila knows that this doesn't work here with the poverty that surrounds the people here. Needless to say Kamila understands how the most influential brains in marketing force even more poverty with wand of credit!

It is now the time for Kamila to get into the mood and look forward to the best season of the year in terms of happiness. It may get very cold but the heart get warmer at Christmas gets closer. Kamila just loves looking forward to life in Bulgaria again with their unique and sociable way of celebrating occasions such as this/

All in all, Kamila says she is very happy, in fact more importantly, completely content with spending the rest of her life in Bulgaria. I can see what she is coming from and the justification for this will unfold as time goes on.

Kamila's New Home

It was a relieved Kamila who arrive at her new home in Bulgaria on the 5th August. She now sits on a self in the living room keeping a wary eye on her hosts every evening. She has many friends who also live with here on the shelf, many coming from England but not all. 

As time ticks on Kamila is keen to try and understand Bulgarian ways and customs which is so different from where she comes from. In the meantime she is just getting a feeling again from her return here. 

Needless to say she this is the happiest she has been for many a year.

Kamila the Camel is back in Bulgaria

KAMILA RETURNS TO BULGARIA

It has been a long long time since Kamila the Camel has made any statements or observations. 

She has been locked away in London, England for over 6 years with her carers feeling very sorry for herself. Understandable so.

 Although she had been there before as she was for sale in the famous Hamleys toy Shop in Regents Street, she never thought she would return.

History now indeed for Kamiila who looks forward to her new life in Yambol Bulgaria. This is where she learned so much about the culture and Bulgarian ways which make so much sense to her now.

So with renewed vigor and refreshed brain, Kamila is ripe for sharing her experiences once again.

Kamila out of Hibernation

It was a tired Kamila this time last year, too much happened within a short space of time that she didn't know what hit here. The result was an exhausted Camel who needed to take time to recuperate and reflect on what was happening in her life.

Now Kamila has come to terms with the situation she finds herself in and is keen to learn more about here surrounding and the life she now lives. It is indeed a Bulgarian environment that she has accepted and takes the rough with the smooth.

From her days in Hamleys the toy shop in London, this is now a far cry. Today she saw the news from London with petty criminals looting shops, gangs attacking police and vandalising everything in their path. She felt so sorry for those she left there in the wake of this. No such thing in Bulgaria from what she has seen here so far, even though the poverty is far worse!

Kamila now looks forward to observing and telling what she finds.

Kamila Is Rather Upset This Summer

Kamila as busy as ever is rather upset this summer. Why is that you may ask? Well it has been raining almost everyday and all the hard work planting tomatoes has basically been a waste of time as without sun and warm weather they just rot.

It also has a knock on effect on prices in the market. So not only does Kamila not have her own stock of tomatoes to last the year out, but it cost more money than normal to buy. This of course does not only apply to Kamila but thousands of other Bulgarians who are also subjected to the same damp weather conditions.

On the brighter side, Kamila found a great site that sells automotive accessories online, in effect an online superstore. Needing an air filter for her family's car, this seemed like a good place to go until she found out that is was based in the USA! those lucky Americans Kamila whispered to herself.

Never mind Kamila, at least the pepper, cucumbers and marrows are doing well.

BLOGGERS BEWARE- Don't Use BLOGADVERTISINGSTORE

Kamila is perhaps too trusting a camel and this is not a good thing to be if you are a blogger who writes up sponsored reviews. Her outlook now to paid post reviews is certainly painted with a coat of inquiries before taking any on now. So why is this Kamila I hear you all ask?

Kamila states simply that you should not use the Blog Review Company Blogadvertisingstore, they are criminals and prey on people who need the money from reviews. Kamila is more than upset with the as they owe her well over $100 and have closed her account because of this.

It has taken Kamila and her team a year to build up $98 from various reviews and she was looking forward to going over the $100 mark which according to the conditions set was the payout level. The blog assignment was completed in the same manner as all the other blog assignments, but was not accepted due to not complying with a few reasons give. The reasons given were vague and Kamila was sure she had adhered to them all and rather than debate it wrote another review. This second paid review was then also not accepted and Kamila had seeds of doubt knowing that the reviews were accepted she was due the funds she had worked so long and hard to earn.

A Third review was written and after a week Kamila knew it would not be accepted and after had not heard whether it had been approved she tried to log into here account but found that her account had been deleted! It was at this point Kamila knew that she had been conned and a fellow Entrecard member also confirmed that the same thing happened to them.

As it stands Kamila has abided by the contract set out and earned over $100 which is owing. She has no way of getting this without incurring cost through legal sources. The company will not reply to messages. Livid is an understatement when someone STEALS money that was being relied on to help with winter fuel bills!

Kamila warns people not to use this company and don't write any further reviews for them, you will not see a cent of the money that is building up.

Kamila On The HTML Tweaking Road

Kamila has this idea that she should know more about HTML code. The reason is quite simple, she want to make her blog a bit more individual and she feels that there are many other bloggers out there who want to do the the same but just don't know where to start..

It is a proud Kamila that looks at her blog and has got away form the 'blogger' standard format. It took a lot of time and effort do and even without any knowledge of HTML code, with just copying and pasting code that she didn't have a clue as to the meaning of, worked. Although Kamila's blog template now is different it still isn't very individual enough for her liking. She would like to put some graphics or pictures in the heading but this is far too complicated right now and of course tie consuming. She has however managed to change the text colour and the background colours. this is just the start she feels as she learns more each week.

Without a little tutorial Kamila wouldn't have manage anything. she now has found a site that gives everything she needs to know about HTML codes yet it explains it in simple laycamel terms. You may be thinking this is a sponsored post by Kamila, but it is not. She has used w3schools.com over the past few days and found it more than useful to tweak her blog. Just as an example with the colour changes, she just went to the site section hat gave the HTML colour codes then copied and pasted on her HTML template where she found different colour codes already in place. By using the preview option she could easily see whether she liked it before saving. She did of course save her template code by downloading it then uploading this in case things went pear shaped.

This is the start of something quite exciting for Kamila as she takes another step forward in blogging technique. She invites anyone to have the confidence to try it out, it really is quite easy and fun.

Kamila Knows About Lingerie and What It Can Do!

Kamila is a camel, we all know that. She is also a blogger who has something to say and an opinion on many things, we also know that. What we don;t know though is how she feels about not having other camels about. There are many humans, but camel are scarce to say the least. Kamila knows that there are other camel in Bulgaria and not just confined to zoos. She has yet to meet one and often dreams about this moment that may come.

Dreaming means you are free from everything and camel tells us that she does dreams quite often and lets on what is is about most of he time. She dreamed of lingerie the other night, this was quite hard to believe as camels do not normally wear this kind of romantic clothing. Kamila said that she looks a bit ridiculous in lingerie in her dream but that sparked up a good idea. Kamila went on to explains that the very next day she said went shopping and bought some lovely lingerie as a gift for a good female friend of her's. She thought it would 'spice' up the romance with her partner and with Valentine Day coming up, this would be a good time for the opportunity to rekindle a little romance between them.

Kamlia went on by saying that love or romance is all about two people (or camels) caring enough about their partner and making an effort and an example of this is wearing beautiful Lingerie to give more romantic evenings and bedtime moments. Whether is it a special occasion or not Kamila says that lingerie says a lot about romance.

We were amazed at Kamila's perception of lingerie and quite taken back by her care for other people int he romance department. We do hope that one day she does meet another camel and falls in love. who knows, last years she got a Valentine card, but it still remains a mystery. Perhaps this year she may have another one or more. Let's also hope that Kamila carries on dreaming beautiful and happy dreams, we love hearing about them.

LinkWithin Is Really A Useful Tool And Free

You may have noticed that many blogs now have a link with their posts suggesting other posts that most closely relate to the one you are reading. This is a very useful addition to add to your site as it may well get your readers to look further into your site with the temptation there in front of them. Kamila has been using it for some time although on fault is that it selects the image used in posts referred to and Kamila has many posts with the same portrait picture of her. This therefore gives many link posts within the site with the same picture, never-the-less it is still better with this internal linking tool than without.

Basically LinkWithin works by placing a blog widget that shows up under each post and links up to related stories from your blog history. As mentioned this includes a thumbnail sized a picture if you have a photograph in the post. You can display up to 5 related posts, and blends in nicely with the design of your post frame with a seamless effect included with most options available. Unfortunately if your blog is not from Blogger, TypePad or WordPress this isn’t an tool that is available for you.

Kamila is very pleased with anything that enhances her blog and brings in more interest for readers especially when it is free and that is exactly what it is FREE and easy to set up. So if you want to get readers to linger longer and add a temptation to explore you previous posts LinkWithin is well worth considering.

EC Top 10 Drop Parade For December 2009

Top Entrecard droppers for December 2009 have been assessed and Martin's blog All about Babies and Kids has edged out all contenders by one extra drop this month. Looking Back And Forward In Blogging

Kamila has been looking back and looking forward with the blogging bug that she has firmly established. It has been a great year for learning about earning money online for Kamila. The biggest reward was the learning curve that has been made from this point last year. Many things have happened and been experimented on and mistakes made, this is how we all learn.

In the coming new year of 2010, Kamila hopes to continue in the same way looking at new ideas, and perhaps revamping old one to make life a little easier with some income from blogging. She has always said that making lots of money is very difficult but making little and often is quite easy and Kamila is more than content with the latter. Greedy is something Kamila certainly isn’t.

New Year will be celebrated in Yambol with friends and family then its off to the village farmhouse which has not been visited for three weeks. There should be snowdrops with this warm spell we have had so it will be a pretty place to be for a couple of day. Besides which all Kamila’s family need a little rest for the partying and fully charged body and mind batteries for the working year ahead.

In the meantime Kamila wishes all bloggers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and she hopes that the sun shines of your blog for the whole of 2010 and beyond.

$1 For A Link On Kamila's Site Planned

After a weekend of sunshine, lovely food and drink and a long rest, Kamila is full of beans this morning. She is on the hunt for new ideas on how to expand the passive income on her site.

This morning she found system where people can put their link on here site for just $1. This seemed a very simple system with no strings attached so Kamila is now getting it up and running and hopes that some bloggers with take it up. It should be on her blog by the end of the day.

All things looking bright on the blogging front, let’s see what other things Kamila can find out about tomorrow. She really is a keen blogger right now and learns very fast that there are lots of things waiting out there to try.

Kamila Has The Hump

It is a rather frustrated Kamila who whilst surfing yesterday on the World Blog Surfing Day got held up by bloggers who hadn’t put a post in as they promised. Why promise and break that promise?

Kamila just can’t understand why people are like that. They could quite easily just put a link to the next blog and nothing else if they don’t have the time to write an article. That way there wouldn’t be a hold up for people who were on the surfing world tour.

Now Kamila is never one to moan, but when people spoil things for other people this does give cause to moan. Kamila right now has the hump!

Winding Down For The Weekend - Not Kamila!

Winding down the week is never the case for Kamila. She always likes to make sure she can enjoy the weekend with the knowledge that she has earned her rest. Friday is a day where she can have a work surge in effort and sign off the evening tired. The tired feeling is a good one, as then she will be looking forward to the relaxation that following two days called “The weekend.”

Today the surge was on Entrecard drops. She has been dropping regularly, but the droppers on her have remains static, so Kamila decided to have a spurge to try and get some more that will exchange more often. Also, she has put in a few more directory listings, boring work, but pays dividends in the long run.

Also Kamila has noticed that her Project Wonderful sponsors have been upping the bids somewhat. She is not quite sure why as her traffic hasn’t increased substantially and that’s what most sponsor bid on.

Anyway, a tired Kamila will sleep well tonight and tomorrow she is to have two days in a row off. No point in scraping the bottom of the energy barrel.

Kamila Wonders Why AdSense Gives Nothing

Kamila was looking back at here Adsense record and just coudn't understand why she was getting clicks of the ads but not getting anything for it. Here is an example:

Five clicks of ads and it didn't even pay one cent for each of those clicks!

Kamlia knows keywords are important and she always uses keywords in the title and throughout the articles she writes. This was the very reason she now uses AdBrite - At least a few cents are rolling in rather than nothing.

It is a wandering camel whe asks whether anyone else has this same problem with AdSense. If Kamila can get it configured correctly or diagnose the problem then I think she would certainly entertain the system again as AdBrite seems to have some 'strange' advertisers that pop up, not always in good taste either.

Lots of Clicks Needed On Adgitize

It was an early rise this morning as Kamila got back to work after her day of rest yesterday. She has got lots of ideas now, but the first job was to get Adgitize sorted out.

Kamila is having trouble getting into a routine or clicking on ads from Adgitize advertisers. So she thought about how she could overcome all these extra clicks she has to make when going through Adgitized blogs. The trouble is every time she clicks on an ad it brings up a new window then she has to go back the original window and click again to highlight that blog again and then delete it with another click. From start to finish there are four clicks to each credit; five if an Entrecard drop is made and extra clicks if scrolling is needed.

For 20 ad clicks that can be well over 100 clicks on the mouse, not good for RSI suffers, Kamila’s hooves are beginning to ache from this and she wonders if there is a better way to get through on clicks on ads. What do other bloggers do? Do they go through the same motions?

The good thing is that Kamila gets to read some of the more interesting blogs that she gets through, so there is a silver lining there for her.

Anyway, Kamila is now full of resolve and on track to make a little more by getting over that 300 points which basically more than doubles your money earned on the 299 mark!
